Program Facilitator – Empowering Future Entrepreneurs GEI Education Pty Ltd

If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you! We’re looking for a Program Manager who can lead our program in the Gold Coast region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and practical learning experiences. 

We also have roles available in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast for 2024. 

What Will You Do?

– Facilitate Learning: Conduct weekly face-to-face tutorial classes throughout the term inspiring students with practical, hands-on experiences with 3 hours of teaching per week.

– Facilitate face-to-face group workshops for a combined student cohort of approx. 40 students twice per term for a full day

– Shape Content: Develop and review innovative learning materials that keep students engaged and eager to learn.

– Promote and Network: Increase program awareness and enrolments by networking with local schools and attending career expos.

– Lead and Support: Step in to support other program delivery partners, demonstrating adaptability and a team mindset.

Option to expand the role to include Brisbane labs and schools and as the business grows move into a permanent position.

To be considered for the role, you will need:

Qualifications:

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (or equivalent/similar). A higher-level TAE or Degree in Adult Education is desirable.
  • Business qualifications minimum Diploma level

Experience – ideally you have

  • Secondary school teaching experience
  • Started your own business or worked in a growth startup
  • Delivered education and learning programs 
  • Facilitated workshops
  • Written learning tools, and updated Learning Management Systems 

This role would suit –  secondary teacher and/or VET trainer looking for parttime or contract hours.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to foster relationships and exert influence.
  • Capacity to handle multiple responsibilities, adapt to change, and make prompt decisions.
  • Flexibility and proactivity in creative problem-solving.
  • Mark assessments promptly and provide comprehensive feedback
  • Foster professional and productive student-teacher relationships
  • Provide regular support and consultation to students
  • Ability to work autonomously / self-directed.
  • High standard of professionalism and integrity
  • High-level accuracy and attention to detail
  • Sound practical knowledge of training systems/platforms
  • Fully conversant with MS Office Suite of programs
  • A current driver’s license

How We Work

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working from home and working virtually. This is a permanent part-time role, that will evolve to full-time over the next year. Our team are contractors working all over Australia and the Directors live in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. We use a variety of collaborative tools to work together and meet using Zoom.
