About Life Education Victoria
Life Education Victoria is one of the leading health promotion charities, often known by our beloved and iconic giraffe mascot, Healthy Harold. Our purpose is to give kids strategies and life skills to deal with the hard stuff in life – bullying, alcohol and other drugs, sexual health and more.

About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Program Facilitator to support our team to deliver the Life Education Health and Wellbeing program in school classrooms across the Goulburn Murray / North Eastern Victoria regions. It’s an exciting phase of development for the organisation as we adapt to the new learning opportunities which we are offering schools now and into the future.
The role is 2 days per week with the option to flex up extra days.
The Life Education program supports students learning from Foundation through to Grade 6 by providing an engaging and student centred experience that aligns with the Victorian Health and Physical Education curriculum.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has an educational or health background, or related skill set. You will have an interest in supporting students to develop the social and emotional skills to handle tricky situations and promoting awareness about positive life decisions.
Our modules focus on relevant topics that students and young children are faced with on a daily basis. These consist of:
- Healthy eating and food choices
- Online safety
- Respectful relationships
- Personal safety and awareness
- Social and emotional learning
- Physical activity
- Drug awareness and strategies to keep oneself safe
- Medicine safety
You will be an enthusiastic and engaging facilitator who is able to make the Life Education program a memorable and impactful learning experience for students and teachers in the classroom.
Training
We place great emphasis ensuring our Program Facilitators have the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver our programs in a memorable way. Prior to commencing classroom delivery you will participate in a range of training activities onsite at our Eltham office, online and in schools with your Training Manager.
It is expected that the successful applicant is available for training 3 days per week during the training period (up to 10 weeks).

- Training Rate: $25.99 per hour
- Casual Rate: $36.28 per hour
- Travel allowance
- Overnight accommodation (where required)
Requirements
- Current Employment Working with Children Check is mandatory
- A current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle is mandatory
- Travel throughout the Goulburn Murray / North East Victorian regions is mandatory as well as travel to the Life Education Head Office in Eltham for induction and professional learning days
