Program Facilitator – Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Eastern Melbourne PHN

About the role

This is a great opportunity to bring your project management and facilitation skills to support the process of commissioning services designed to improve mental health, AOD and suicide prevention initiatives in our catchment area. 

The Program Facilitator will thrive on engaging  with stakeholders and facilitating mental health, AOD and suicide prevention initiatives, with the potential of expanding into other projects within Eastern Melbourne PHN in the future. This position will require coordination, improvement identification, project administration and participation in cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of project planning, design, evaluation and delivery are data driven and agile. 

This is a 12 months fixed term contract, but there is a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our dedicated Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Managers to design, implement, and oversee transformative programs.
  • Foster partnerships with diverse organizations, leveraging your exceptional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills to create a network of support.
  • Embrace co-design principles to ensure programs are tailored to the unique needs of our community.
  • Utilize your expertise in data analysis, project management, and project administration to drive the success of our initiatives.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and hands-on experience in healthcare, with a focus on mental health or community services.
  • Showcase a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with various organizations and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, project management, and project administration.

Eastern Melbourne PHN (EMPHN) is one of the major commissioners of federally-funded health care services in Melbourne, with responsibility for improving the primary health care system.  We do this by facilitating health system improvements for people in the eastern and north eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

This is a 12 months fixed term contract, but there is a possibility of extension.
