Program Manager – Family and Community Counselling Pure Source Recruitment

JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role
Lead the development and delivery of the Family and Community Counselling Service and Access Employee Assistance Program across Townsville and Mount Isa, along with outreach support in other remote regions of North Queensland. Reporting to the Director Client Services, this position is responsible for leading and managing a team of eight direct reports while also contributing to program consistency, compliance, growth and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the delivery of services to ensure the meet operational and strategic goals
  • Implement appropriate evaluation and performance reporting measures to support management and adhere to relevant funding obligations
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the Senior Management Team and Practice Supervision Team, as well as key external funding bodies
  • Promote quality and safety initiatives, and ensure operational compliance in line with service agreements and legislative requirements
  • Review current processes and procedures and implement continuous improvement initiatives to create operational efficiencies and contribute to quality assurance of the program
  • Participate in the delivery of services by managing a small case load of clients, whilst providing leadership in the areas of practice, outcomes measurement and community liaison
  • Identify potential growth opportunities such as contributing to funding submissions aimed at furthering the footprint of the program 

Skills & Experience required

  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant human services discipline such as Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Counselling or similar
  • Someone who meets the requirements of an accredited Family and Relationship Counsellor under the Family Law Act (1975)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within program management or team leadership, as well as previous practitioner experience
  • Highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, as you will be expected to collaborate with funding providers and external partners as well as senior leaders across the organisation
