About Us:
The Purple Hands Foundation is the charitable arm of the Fremantle Football Club, that provides youth engagement programs, uniquely delivered through sport. We aim to create connected WA communities where young people are thriving from a sense of belonging and purpose.
The Role:
As the Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of helping young people overcome barriers to unlock their true potential, instilling important life skills and behaviours using the power of sport.
You will report to our General Manager and be responsible for developing, managing and measuring the impact of innovative youth engagement programs that align with our mission and values and make a positive difference in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify youth engagement needs and opportunities.
- Design and develop culturally sensitive and inclusive youth engagement programs.
- Oversee the successful execution of programs, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Establish clear program metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate program success.
- Regularly assess program outcomes and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
- Supervise and lead a team to ensure effective program delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community organisations, schools, partners, and sponsors.
- Prepare funding applications aligned with program goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in community development, youth work, social work, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in the Not-For-Profit sector.
- Strong abilities in Program Management, Social Impact Reporting, and Funding Applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
