Our Hospitals (38-beds at Ashfield and 30-beds at Kogarah) are private psychiatric facilities that treat mood disorders and drug and alcohol addictions.

About the role

We are looking for a confident professional to provide integrated evidence-based care to inpatients and day patients of Wesley Private Hospitals across the range of inpatient and day patient programs provided.

 

Essential criteria

  • current registration in an appropriate discipline (e.g. AHPRA, AASW, PACFA)
  • experience working in a mental health setting
  • an understanding of evidence based clinical practice
  • group therapy and individual therapy skills
  • competency in working with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • effective verbal and written communication and liaison skills
  • commitment to ongoing professional development
  • proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.

 

Desirable criteria

  • experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • current NSW Driver’s Licence.
