We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Worker to join our Standing Strong program on the Gold Coast. Standing Strong provides support for women to improve their job readiness, achieve paid employment, volunteering, education, and skills training while increasing their overall sense of safety. Your role within our specialised economic empowerment program, Standing Strong, will allow you to:

Assist women increase their economic security, workforce participation and safety through a strength based and trauma informed case management framework.

Build positive and meaningful relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders, employers and local service providers with the goal of supporting women.

Provide education sessions to employment service providers about Domestic and Family Violence awareness and trauma informed practice and facilitate group workshops in a variety of settings on job readiness.

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Program Worker with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:
-
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar
-
Experience providing high quality customer-centred individual and/or family therapeutic interventions and/or case management
-
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships
-
Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
-
Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work
