We are an expanding team of 5, primarily mums, so we work school hours generally although there is the capacity to do later hours (from home via telehealth).

Mindspot Psychology is a warm and professional private practice located in Orange NSW. We are looking for skilful and compassionate psychologists to join our team as either contractors or employees providing a mix of face-to-face and telehealth. About the role:
The position is part-time – we work school hours, to suit your
commitments/lifestyle.
We respect your professionalism and authenticity, and we let you do your own thing with your own style (no micromanaging here and we encourage laughter in our sessions!)
We are lucky to be able to offer varied and rewarding clinical caseloads. We tend to work primarily with adults ranging from 18 to 60 years and provide both face-to-face and telehealth services if that’s appropriate for the client.
Our clients typically seek out our assistance in managing anxiety, depression, grief/loss and trauma.
You will have access to a database of assessment measures and template letters to assist in diagnosis, formulation and reporting to stakeholders eg. Medicare
You will receive weekly and group supervision with principal psychologist Natalie Single, PsyBA board-approved supervisor for the 4+2 and 5+1 internship programs

Referrals:
The majority of referrals are from previous clients who recommend us to their networks. We have also developed excellent working relationships with our local private hospital, GPs and other professionals. The majority of our clients are adults between the ages of 18 to 60 years old, however, also see some older children and adolescents from time to time. We encourage our clinicians to create a workload and therapeutic style that suits their skills and well-being.
About you:
Now that you know a bit about us, we are looking for someone who is:
Warm, friendly and passionate and dedicated to providing excellent client care
Has a sense of humour and values authenticity – we encourage and help you to develop your own authentic style to reduce that dreaded imposter syndrome!
Previous experience providing evidence-based assessments and/or interventions to individuals
Great communication skills and ability to develop strong rapport quickly
Previous experience in private practice is desirable (but not essential as we will show you the ropes)
Whilst not essential we would love it if you had some training in EMDR
Keenness to learn EMDR and Schema Therapy
Excellent written and oral communication and time management skills
A Medicare Australia Provider Number or eligibility to apply. Provisional Psychologist roles will also be considered.
Working With Children Check (if working with young people)
Professional and public indemnity insurance, ABN, AHPRA registration and ability to obtain a Medicare Provider Number (if registered)
Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, MH OT or Social Worker
