Provisional Psychologist – Acumen Health Graduate program Generation Health Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Masters of Psychology graduates who want to make a real difference, to join our two-year Graduate Program. You’ll evaluate the treatment and rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness, by applying your knowledge and skills to: 

  • Perform new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, recovery support 
  • Conduct initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to same employment 
  • Assess and report on workers mental health fitness for work and psychological functional capacities 
  • Conduct intelligence testing and reporting  
  • Assess and make recommendations on effects of mental health and medical conditions on ability to work 
  • Write detailed case notes and reports  
  • Work with adult clients living with varying socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial and nationality backgrounds
