Bromley Psychology is a private clinical assessment service for individuals from 6 years of age to adult. Bromley Psychology operates from Bromley House, a centrally located heritage Victorian house, built in Ballarat in 1857. This private and serene property contains child-friendly and spacious consulting rooms and Butterfly, the resident therapy cat.
Bromley Psychology is owned and operated by Dr Simone Heeney, a Clinical Psychologist with 18 years’ experience assessing, diagnosing and treating children and adolescents with social, emotional, behavioural and learning disorders.
We are seeking provisionally registered psychologists to provide assessments and intervention programs for children and adolescents with behavioural, learning, social, sensory, communication and emotional disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Successful applicants will also provide cognitive, academic, adaptive behaviour and ASD assessments and ongoing support services to adult clients.
We offer a highly competitive renumeration package based on a sub contractual arrangement that includes referrals, full use of testing equipment and data analysis packages, and regular registered supervision and clinical support.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently registered as a provisional psychologist with AHPRA
- Holds an ABN & professional indemnity insurance
- Experience in use of cognitive, academic, behavioural, sensory and ASD assessment materials (desirable)
- Double vaccinated as per government requirements
- Knowledge of contemporary evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Skills in engaging with young people and advocating on their behalf
- Excellent communication, writing, organisation, time management skills and interpersonal skills
- Administrative tasks including client bookings, client notes, letters to referrers, report writing, taking payments, file maintenance, correspondence
