Spencer Health is a mental health organisation incorperating Child Development Solutions Australia (Hornsby, Avalon Beach and Melbourne), Sydney Psychology Centre (Gladesville and Mosman) and KidsLink Social Skills Program. Our centres focus on the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adultts and families Our Team is made up of Clinical Psychologists and Registrars, Speech Pathologist, and Paediatricians and Art therapists. Spencer Health is well known as a “Centre Of Excellence” and we also deliver creative group-based therapies throughout the year and during school holidays. About the role
We are looking to add to our team of dedicated professionals with the addition of a Provisional Psychologist with specific skills and a passion for working with children and adolescents at our Hornsby and Gladesville sites.
Core duties associated with the role will include group co-facilitation, cognitive & academic assessment as well as individual treatment services (as appropriate to skill level). There are also opportunities to utilise and develop skills in cognitive assessment, parenting support, group therapies and more.
Employment is flexible and may be part-time or full time. Due to the nature of our services, work hours will be until 6:30pm.

Skills and experience
You will possess:
- A recognised degree in Psychology,
- Registration as a Provisional Psychologist with AHPRA,
- Membership or eligibility for membership with the APS,
- Interest in the psychological assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health disorders,
- Interest in running group based therapy,
- Excellent relationship building skills and customer service skills,
- Good written and verbal communication skills,
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to assessment and treatment delivery,
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
You MAY possess (non-essential):
- An interest in or experience in working with new parents/parents to be,
- Experience in the assessment and support of clients with Autism and developmental disorders,
