About us
Aspiration Education and Development Clinic (AEDC) is an NDIS registered provider and a tertiary referral clinic that specialises in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, as well as more generalist concerns (Anxiety, Depression, etc) with children and young adults. AEDC is part of the National Early Childhood ILC Working Group, dedicating in research and evidence-based early intervention.

Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology or counselling with membership in relevant professional association (AHPRA, ACA, PACFA etc.)
- Current working with children and police checks
- Experience in evidence-based counselling, addressing emotional, behavioural and developmental issues
- Warmth, kindness and a commitment to ethical and professional practice
- Confident and effective communicator
- Ability to work collaboratively in a care team and to liaise effectively with referral sources and other agencies as required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide ethical and professional counselling/therapy services to clients following individual goals
- Developing and implementing individual intervention plans
- Maintaining accurate records of client attendance, appropriate case notes and necessary forms
- Facilitating small group intervention when appropriate (e.g., Social Skills Group)
- Ensuring that service delivery complies with the appropriate AEDC policies and procedures, such as mandatory reporting)
- Consistently and effectively engaging clients, maintaining good working alliances
- Professional report writing (e.g., client progress report), and assist with report reviews
Permanent Hours
- Two to three days per week (no weekends)
