As a Provisional Psychologist, you will provide and deliver clinical services to students and staff of St Philomena’s School, Moree as part of Centacare NENW’s mission. You will work autonomously within professional practice and Agency guidelines.

About The Role 

Working as part of our team some key responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • To work as an independent and autonomous professional within a school environment and within the policies and procedures of Centacare NENW, taking full responsibility for your own work.
  • To formulate treatment plans that are specific to each client, based upon an analysis of complex factors contributing to the presentation, and selectively drawing on appropriate conceptual and theoretical models.
  • To liaise with school staff regularly and provide information to the School Intervention Team to develop ongoing student support
  • To maintain high standards of record keeping and report writing, according to professional and Agency guidelines, including electronic data entry and recording.

Essential Criteria

  • Have current registration with AHPRA/Relevant Counselling Organisations
  • Experience in the delivery of both individual and group counselling
  • Experience working with young people and adolescents
  • Well-developed consultation skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
