About Us

We are a small but well-established, dynamic, friendly and collegial private practice in Dapto within the Illawarra area. We have child friendly, trauma and disability supportive therapy spaces close to public transport and shops. 

Ripples AHC has worked in partnership with Synapse OT, and an independent Art Therapist, in this same practice for the last 5 years. We are well-known trauma and disability focussed businesses who have enjoyed working together dynamically. Our senior practitioners work closely with team members and provide regular informal and formal supervision, across teams. 

Ripples Clinical Director and Registered Psychologist, Loan Pham has worked in the area with over 17 years of experience locally, with a reputation in working collaboratively with complex presentations, within the NGO and private sectors, particularly in the area of relational trauma and disability. 

The practice is known for delivering excellent clinical outcomes in a fun, professional and friendly environment. Our mission statement drives our work. Our principles are governed by guidelines within our registration. 

We provide high-quality evidence-based assessment and intervention to empower individuals facing challenges to live the lives they deserve and wish for themselves. We are in the position where the high demand from strong word of mouth amongst clients, medical referrers, NGO’s and networks, and an excellent community reputation has led to this recruitment need. We need someone who is able to fill the gap, to support the needs of those who have not been able connect with a therapist through lack of services.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Can use PC laptops, touch type and learn new platforms easily.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and record keeping skills.
  • Professional, reliable, warm and friendly manner
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team setting
  • Has a record of connecting with external service providers and care teams
  • Organised and trustworthy
  • Experience with clinical report writing   
  • You have strong clinical experience in evidence-based interventions with at least 2 years of experience in the trauma or disability sector (familiar with NDIS policies, and safeguarding)
  • Personally driven to meet membership requirements for professional development
  • Active participation in individual and peer supervision
  • Workcover approved (Advantageous)
  • Victims Services approved (Advantageous)
  • Availability to work weekends (Advantageous)
  • Experience with Halaxy Practice Management Software (Advantageous)
