Being You Mental Health is a private psychology practice located in Mango Hill, Queensland. We work with clients of all ages providing assessment and therapy. Being You, is a NDIS registered business that has arisen from the shared vision of clinicians to change the way mental health and neurodiversity are treated. Our clinicians have over 30 years combined experience working across the breadth of the health, disability, and social services, culminating in a wealth of experience and insights.
Being You supports clients by building relationships through trust and understanding, placing great importance on the value of family & support networks. It’s through connection that these emotional and psychological needs can be identified and addressed.
Being You is developing a neuroaffirming model of practice that provides a systems approach to how clients are supported and treated.
What we offer our team
We have built a brand-new clinical space in the Capestone Village in Mango Hill. Our new premises have been specifically designed for purpose and is fit out to be a modern and inviting space for both clients and staff. Our team is fully supported in terms of supervision, mentorship and professional development.
We are committed to developing a model of practice that prioritises staff wellbeing and balance. Our directors are both mums who understand the complexities of balancing work and life and the importance of having flexibility and support within your working environment.
We provide flexibility in terms of days, hours and clients you like to work with. We provide training and support around areas of practice that may be unfamiliar. We provide regular individual and group supervision to all staff members.
About the job…
We are seeking a registered psychologist to join our compassionate and friendly clinical team. We have a full-time position starting immediately. Early career psychologists are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high level psychological service within a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, counsellors, social workers and education consultants
- Conduct comprehensive individual assessments, formulation of diagnosis, treatment and follow up plans
- Experience providing individual therapy. This includes adjusting psychological interventions to the needs of the client within the scope of current best practice
About you…
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology.
- Full AHPRA registration.
- Eligibility for positive Working with Children Check in the applicable state of employment in Australia or exemption based on professional qualifications and registration.
- Eligibility for NDIS Worker Screening Check.
The salary range for this position is $90 000 – $110 000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
