Breathe Psychology offers a warm, welcoming and supportive team environment. We are situated in a spacious (heritage-listed) victorian weatherboard clinic in Geelong West, Victoria – a short walk to Pakington Street, Geelong Station, and the Geelong CBD – and just 30 minutes from the surfcoast and Great Ocean Road! We provide ongoing group and individual supervision, continuous professional development, and training, to ensure you feel supported, and continue to develop the clinical skills and knowledge you need to grow as a practitioner, and to work with a diverse range of client presentation. We provide extensive administrative support so you can focus on important clinical work. We have established a comprehensive intake process to ensure you are matched with the right clients for your skill level and interest. We hire on a contract basis, with very competitive remuneration for your time and work.

Breathe Psychology was established only 3 years ago in order to fill a gap in progressive, client focused, trauma-informed care for the Geelong, Ballerine and Surfcoast communities. In this short time we have developed a strong reputation for excellent client care and outcomes; high quality EMDR services; an ability to work with a range of complex presentations (including trauma and dissociation); and our welcoming and respectful (trauma-informed) culture. We believe that Breathe Psychology is the sum of its parts, and this role provides an opportunity for the right psychologist to join this burgeoning, highly skilled team and contribute to our joint vision as we continue to hone our identity and purpose as a trauma-informed psychology practice.

About You:
The right candidate will have: experience or a strong interest in working with progressive therapies (e.g. EMDR, Neurofeedback etc.); a passion for trauma-informed care; a love of learning; the ability to work independently; a desire to be an active part of our team and contribute to the collaborative and inclusive culture of the practice; excellent interpersonal skills.
