Psychologist – Child and Adolescent The Shellharbour Clinic

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you have a passion for working with young people, but find yourself rushing to see as many clients as possible within a limited timeframe? Are you yearning for a change that allows you to work with less distress and to provide long-term, meaningful treatment rather than just addressing acute needs? If you feel that your psychologist skills are not being fully utilised, and you’re eager to expand your horizons, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. Join our team and start your journey to maximise your psychology skills while making a lasting impact on the lives of the individuals you see.

At The Shellharbour Clinic, we prioritise your professional development and goals. Our comprehensive 100-day induction program ensures a seamless transition into private practice, complete with perks like mentoring, regular peer and individual supervision, in-house professional development sessions, and social events to foster connections. We are a team of dedicated professionals, driven by a shared passion for making a meaningful difference through exceptional psychology services. Joining us means you’ll receive the support and guidance needed to become the best version of yourself, so you can thrive in private practice just as much as we do.

Our vision extends beyond providing leading trauma services in the Illawarra region; we aim to empower individuals with all presentations to overcome their past and live their best lives. But our commitment doesn’t stop there; we conduct ourselves with integrity in all interactions, striving to enhance community mental health. As a team, we embrace continuous learning, constantly refining our evidence-based treatments to positively impact lives.

Located in the heart of Shellharbour City, our clinic offers convenience with a short walk to the main shopping centre and easy access from Wollongong or Kiama.
