About Adelaide Psychology & Co: We are an established private clinical psychology practice based in Adelaide CBD. We are passionate about providing high quality mental health services to our clientele, which are predominately young adults. We see clients across the lifespan for psychological therapy, however we have a focus on youth mental health.

What makes our private practice different is our genuine care and support not only for not only our clients, but each other. We have Board Approved Supervisors on the team should you require clinical supervision, and we also have regular peer supervision.

Adelaide Psychology & Co is a modern psychology practice, utilizing digital note taking and online assessment measures, and implementing feedback informed treatment with our clients. We have highly efficient systems and admin support in place to ensure you can focus on what is important – treating your clients. 

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Have registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Be eligible for registration with Medicare
  • Enjoy working as part of a friendly and supportive team
  • Have a warm, approachable manner, with the ability to work independently
  • Be self-motivated, organized, and efficient at managing time and tasks
  • Be committed to providing excellence in clinical services
  • Have availability to provide six individual therapy sessions per day
  • Display clinical competence in a range of clinical presentations, including anxiety disorders and depressive disorders
  • Be able to critically reflect on your practice and use of clinical skills
  • Be willing to use feedback informed treatment & deliberate practice to improve client outcomes

Role description: You will deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to clients with mental health disorders, most of which are referred for services under a Medicare mental health care plan. We prioritize staff wellbeing, which includes a caseload of no more than six sessions per day, and seeing clients no more than four days per week. You are provided with the flexibility to join the team based on your availability, ideally providing client consultations two to four days per week. You are encouraged to establish your own therapeutic identity, including using the therapeutic modalities and seeing the clinical presentations of your choosing.

  • Full administrative support, including management of all accounts and appointments
  • Regular peer supervision and the option for supervision with an AHPRA board endorsed supervisor
  • Access to hundreds of clinical resources, therapy manuals and books
  • Free use of range of digital online assessment measures, including NovoPsych, WPS, Q-Global & Hello Q, MHS, and FIT Outcomes
  • Use of a Surface Pro & Surface Pen for digital note taking
  • Provisions to use telehealth with your clients

Location: Our practice is conveniently located in the Adelaide CBD on Wright Street. This location offers a central position for our clients and staff alike, as well as free street parking and easy access to public transport routes.
