THE ROLE:

We are seeking a motivated Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Clinical Psychology Registrar to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing comprehensive psychological services across the lifespan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Excellence: Conduct evidence-based clinical assessments and interventions for individuals across all life stages.

Treatment Planning: Plan, develop and implement outcome-focused individualised treatment plans using a best practice framework.

Service Delivery: Provide psychological services in line with funding arrangements, including Medicare, WorkCover, CTP Insurance, and NDIS.

Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client case notes within our electronic clinical record system, adhering to practice and professional standards.

Collaboration: Participate in case review meetings, contribute to care plans and participate in planned case conferences with GPs and other health professionals involved in the client’s care as required.

Reporting: Provide written reports to referrers with information regarding assessments undertaken, treatment provided, and recommendations on future management of the client’s disorder, according to referrer requirements.

Service Enhancement: Contribute to service planning, policy and procedure development and other administrative functions relevant to service provision.

Continuous Improvement: Be at the forefront of quality and service improvement initiatives, ensuring we maintain our commitment to best practice standards.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or hold an endorsement in Neuropsychology
  • Medicare provider number or ability to obtain one
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • Hold a current Police Record Check and Working With Children Check
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with referrers, organisations, and the community
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong report-writing skills
