Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist

Private Practice 

We are a large Psychology Clinic in the Bayside area of Melbourne (Cheltenham) looking to expand our team of 17 experienced psychologists. We have over 27 years’ experience in private practice providing high-quality, evidence-base treatment and assessment for a range of presenting issues. We maintain an excellent community and corporate reputation. The position would suit a psychologist who is willing to work with clients 18 years and over with a strong interest in anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues and grief. We offer a generous remuneration structure taking into consideration experience and qualifications of the successful applicant(s).

  • Immediate client case load – ongoing stream of referrals
  • Generous remuneration structure – $135 –  $165 per consultation for subcontractors
  • No bulk billed clients (we are not a bulk billing clinic)
  • Full time reception support (team of 3)
  • Your own personal administrative assistant

  • Online claiming facilities for clients 
  • Flexible hours (no minimum clients per day)
  • Regular peer supervision and ongoing support
  • 10 comfortable and fully furnished consulting rooms
  • Immediate reimbursement of client funds in your bank account next business day
  • Well established relationships and networks with schools and medical practices
  • Experienced psychologists with a great team culture

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced psychologist 
  • Psychologists who are registered and in the early stages of their career are also encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work some after hours each week
  • Willingness to work within a collaborative team
  • Psychologist with a client focused approach

Position requirements:

  • Doctoral/Masters level qualifications in Psychology
  • Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
  • Eligibility for registration with Medicare 
  • Professional Indemnity insurance and your own ABN
