If you’re on the lookout for a warm & comfortable working environment, we’d love to hear from you! We’re seeking passionate and warm psychologists experienced in paediatric and adult psychometric assessments to join our expanding team to operate on a full-time or part-time basis.

Our Practice
Formed with the strong belief that every individual has unconditional worth and is capable of genuine change, we are a private practice that specialises in helping individuals experiencing emotional distress or psychological illness reach sustained mental health outcomes.  

 

Our Practice Directors

Our practice directors, Dylan D’Arcy & Matt Scerri, are clinical psychologists. At the heart of their endeavour, they always strive to ensure that their valued team of psychologists feel supported and cared for. They recognise the importance of psychologists feeling satisfied in their roles leading to better client outcomes which in turn benefits the community as a whole.

 

Our Administrative Team

Our caring and knowledgeable Administrative Team Assistant, Taylah Budd looks after both our clients and psychologists. She takes care of a vast majority of the reception and administration duties, leaving our psychologists to focus their time and energy on their clients, providing them with genuine warmth, compassion and professionalism.

 

Our Community

We understand that private practice can be isolating, so in addition to support from our Directors and Administrative Team, we offer regular team meetings, a kitchen with a comfortable communal lunch area.  a private Slack group and social events. As our team continues to grow, we hope to begin facilitated peer consultations. We aim to maximise autonomy whilst encouraging peer consultation and support wherever necessary.

 

Our Clients

Our clients present with a range of issues and from diverse background so we are lucky to be able to offer a varied and rewarding clinical caseloads. In addition to Medicare referrals, we work with third parties such as the TAC, NDIS and Workcover. 

 

New Psychometric assessments and Recently Renovated Spaces
In addition to providing new, beautifully appointed, professional consulting rooms, we also provide access to a wide variety of modern, updated and psychometrically well validated, clinical assessments tools. 

 

Our Network

We have a stable and regular referral base. We have strong relationships with GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians, allied health practitioners and external psychologists. A significant number of clients find us through word of mouth from current clients and through our website. The successful candidate will receive marketing geared towards introducing them to the community & our networks. 

 

Attractive Terms

We offer a non-restrictive & fair independent contractor and employed arrangements. 

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Master (or equivalent) or Doctorate in Psychology 
  • Full registration (or pending approval) as a psychologist with AHPRA
  • Experience in administering, scoring and interpreting a variety of psychometric assessments. 
  • Expectation of obtaining Medicare registration, ABN, indemnity insurance and third-party registration including TAC and Workcover.
  • Strong organisational and written communication skills.
  • A capacity to provide stable, reliable and consistent support to clients.
