Psychologist / Counsellor / Therapist
An exciting full-time employment opportunity is available for a Psychologist / Counsellor / Therapist to work in a private hospital setting delivering group and individual therapy.
Located on Sydney’s upper north shore, Gordon Private Hospital is a 57-bed teaching hospital affiliated with UNSW. We are an independent mental health facility and our focus is to inspire hope and promote wellness in every patient on their road to recovery.

The successful candidate will provide group and individual therapy to patients experiencing a variety of mental health disorders including trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis and personality disorders. They will be supported by a team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, mental health nurses and allied health workers. In house supervision provided.
Criteria:
- Experience facilitating group programs.
- Training and experience in CBT and DBT.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver quality patient care.
- Self-motivated and interested to further develop their clinical skills.
- Commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment.
