Psychologist FIFO Role from Brisbane Gryphon Psychology

JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to continual growth we are currently looking for experienced Psychologists to support our clients in our Regional offices and locations.  This role is FIFO (fly in/fly out), based in Brisbane, flying into our Regional Locations in Queensland and interstate.  Week on/Week off arrangement with an 0.5 employed role or the option for 0.5 work in Brisbane Office on the alternative week off period. 

Main duties will include:

  • Counselling –  diverse range of presenting issues including relationships, depression, anxiety, work stress, drug and alcohol, anger management
  • Fitness for work assessment and case management
  • Manager and Leader consultation and coaching
  • Critical Incident response (on occasion)
  • Individualised sleep therapy programs
  • Delivery of psycho-education training programs

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology and registration with AHPRA
  • Registration/membership with associated professional body AAPi or APS.
  • Strong clinical assessment and counselling skills
  • Possession of a Driver’s License 
  • Demonstrated understanding of working in regional communities and mining/resource and other safety sensitive sectors
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team and be flexible to the needs of our clients
  • Willingness to respond to after hours emergency calls when rostered on
  • Engaging training facilitation skills (Highly Desired)
