Seeking an experienced Psychologist to join a friendly, multidisciplinary team to provide healthcare services at our clinic in Villawood.
The Role
In this role you will be delivering evidence-based psychological services in an Immigration Detention Centre clinic through assessment, case formulation and case management, structured interview techniques and therapeutic interventions. Key responsibilities:
- Triage referrals; conduct mental health assessments
- Identify, assess and follow up persons who are at risk
- Ensure high standards of psychological care within 1-2-1 sessions or in groups
- Provide clinical reports to internal and external stakeholders

Profile description:
- Full working rights in Australia
- Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- A minimum of 3 years post registration experience. Detention or corrections experience highly desirable
- Proven experience with clinical coordination / case management and risk assessment within the mental health environment
- Experience in assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders, and provision of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based focused clinical psychological strategies
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records as well as excel and word programs
