Group Therapy Programme Coordinator

Full Time Opportunity (76 hours/fortnight)

 

About the Role:

With the growth of our service, we are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to take on a key Therapy Programme Coordinator role. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidenced based Psychological interventions to the client population at Ramsay Clinic Cairns. The role includes planning, implementing and evaluating The Ramsay Model of Care group therapy programmes, in conjunction with a professional team of Clinical Psychologists, Allied Health professionals, Nurses and support staff to ensure ongoing quality improvement, as well as coordinating individual therapy as required.

About You

You will be a qualified Clinical Psychologist with proven experience leading and organising evidenced based therapeutic group therapy and both outpatient and inpatient programmes. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of organisational and problem solving skills. Strong leadership skills are key to this role as you will be leading and supporting a diverse team of health professionals.

This role will suit someone with a passion for a high standard of client care and with strong knowledge of industry best-practice in the field.

You will also bring;

  • Recognised Tertiary qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Full registration with AHPRA or Professional body.
  • Training & experience in therapeutic group leadership
  • Significant Experience leading and coordinating evidenced based therapy ie CBT, MI or Interpersonal Therapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organise effective customer focused services
  • Post graduate qualifications discipline specific or Mental Health specific.
