JOB DESCRIPTION

Wholechild Specialists is growing its team of dedicated Allied Health Professionals and are on the lookout for a compassionate Psychologist – Clinical, Registered or Intern or an accredited Mental Health Social Worker.

Our multi-disciplinary team will support you to engage with clients and their families in identifying meaningful goals which can positively impact their lives and assist them to function in their community. We recognise that every client’s pathway for neurodevelopmental assessment and interventions requires an individual approach and we are committed to empowering our clinicians as they continue to grow and learn on their personal journey as therapists

With flexibility to work in any of our three clinics across Central Western NSW, the role entails assessment and treatment of a wide variety of clinical presentations across the lifespan, with scope to focus on particular areas of your clinical interest. The role provides unlimited opportunity for growth through supervision from local and other experts in their field. We also offer high quality internal training through our own team of experts.

Intern Psychologists are very well supported with weekly, individual clinical supervision, regular training through Core Connect as well as complex case reviews.

ABOUT YOU

  • Compassionate, with a warm and collaborative approach to therapy
  • Fully or provisionally registered with AHPRA (Psychologist) or AASW (Social Worker)
  • Eligibility for Medicare Registration (except Intern Psychologists)
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Current Working With Children Check, Criminal Records Check and NDIS Worker Screening
