Psychologist or Mental Health accredited Social Worker or O/T Healthy Relationships and Psychology

JOB DESCRIPTION

Healthy Relationships & Psychology (“HR&P”) is a Brisbane based business with two clinics in Milton and Deception Bay.  We are looking for motivated team members to join our clinics and to operate from each location.  We provide tailored psychological assessment and therapy to a range of clients who attend under the auspices of Open Arms (Department of Veterans Affairs), Workcover, NDIS, Couple’s and Sex Therapy referrals and referrals from our local network of General Practitioners.

Career Development

We don’t want this to be ‘just another job’ for our Psychologists, (mental health accredited) Social Workers or Occupational Therapists.  We are looking for qualified people who want to take their careers to the next level. We offer career development opportunities and we take pride in elevating our Professionals’ careers, employability and skill set.

For our Clinical Psychology Registrars, we offer weekly supervision with a Clinical Psychologist, for the length of the Registrar Program, FREE of charge (normally valued between $15,000 to $20,000).

For our Generalist Psychologists, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists we offer FREE monthly or fortnightly (depending on experience and needs) supervision with a Clinical Psychologist and assistance with professional development opportunities.

Competitive Remuneration

At Healthy Relationships and Psychology, we do not Bulk Bill.  We want our people to be remunerated well for the important work that they do and we want them to be able to enjoy their work while looking after our clients and providing them with the best possible long-term care.

Work/Life Balance

More than ever, work/life balance and position flexibility are vital parts of our lives.  At Healthy Relationships and Psychology, we offer the opportunity to complete a proportion of work remotely including Telehealth services.

We realise that an Allied Health Professionals’ work doesn’t end when the client’s session does, so we aim to provide as much support as we can.  Our reception team are poised and ready to provide billing, booking and diary support (including missed appointment – follow-up, fees and rescheduling).

Additional Support

We appreciate all of our staff and we want our professionals to feel supported.  We strongly encourage our psychologists and administrative team to seek support from each other and from our Principal Psychologist.  Our Principal is always ready to provide support and guidance in the assessment of cases and management of operational demands.  If something doesn’t make sense, or a client’s presentation is difficult to assess and manage, just ask!  We are always happy to help.

We have two positions currently available:

Each permanently contracted position is for three days per week, more days are available for the interested candidate.

Essential Criteria:

Professional registration with the relevant Board of Australia (AHPRA).

Highly regarded:

Clinical Psychology Registrars.

Current endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA.

Professionals with a clinical area of interest in relationship counselling. As relationships are our area of special interest, candidates with an interest in this type of clinical work but with no experience are encouraged to apply.
