We are very excited to expand our counselling private practice in Epping or Footscray, Victoria. Safe Place Therapy was created to build a safe place for individuals, couples and families to get the counselling support they need. Wanting to be part of a small but growing team that is about real mental health change? We are the right fit for you. 

We have exciting roles for a Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker  $90-129k starting wage pro rata with extra benefits including extra funding for CPD where needed and a supportive team. You can work at either the Epping site or Footscray site or a mixture of both.

We are looking for staff who

  • Medicare registration is ideal but not mandatory
  • Mental Health experience and ability to create safety and solid rapport quickly,
  • the work will start on a casual basis but can build to part time/fulltime as clients build.
  • Ability to take holidays when it suits you.
  • Informal debriefing and consultation provided.
  • Full administration support provided.

The short list of candidates will be required to do a mock counselling session with someone chosen by the employer as part of the interview process. This is to ensure that you have the clinical skill but also warmth in session.
