About Us

Progressive Psychology is a growing psychology practice on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, 50-minutes south-east of Melbourne. 

We are looking for two enthusiastic psychologists! We are seeking one psychologist who has an interest in working with children and adolescents, and another who has a keen interest in working with clients across the lifespan to join our Rosebud team.

**Provisional psychologists and early career psychologists welcome to apply**

Key Responsibilities & Duties

 – provide evidence-based psychological interventions to clients in both an individual and group format via mixed modes of delivery e.g. telehealth / face to face

 – maintain confidential written records of all sessions and ensure timely entry in our practice management software

 – compose detailed and concise correspondence to a wide audience in a timely manner as required e.g. GP letters

 – liaise with external agencies and medical/allied health professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to service delivery

 – provide mobile visits to clients for offsite consultation where necessary e.g. education settings

 – attend regular case conferencing and team meetings

 – maintain ongoing professional development

 – regularly contribute to program development and social media content

Essential Criteria

The successful applicant will:

 – hold registration with AHPRA

 – be eligible to provide services under Medicare

 – have individual Professional Indemnity Insurance

 – hold a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check for employment

 – hold a current National Police Check

 – have a broad range of experience working with clients across the lifespan

 – have a demonstrated commitment to working within an evidence-based framework e.g. CBT

 – have the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment

 – have outstanding organisational communication and presentation

 – be motivated, have a positive can-do attitude, and be a team player

 – have a passion for making a difference in the lives of your clients and a willingness to assist them to strive for progress, not perfection.

Desirable Criteria

 – First Aid / CPR / Anaphylaxis / Asthma training and certification

 – working knowledge of Power Diary practice management software

 – experience working with children and adolescents

 – experience working with groups, couples counselling or family counselling.
