JOB DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity exists for a Psychologist / Occupational Therapist / Social Worker (Mental Health Clinician), deliver high level of discipline specific clinical services and leadership across mental health work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health (SCHHS).

The position requires a range of clinical assessment and treatment skills, preferably experience with treating consumers who have eating disorders, that can be used across the SCHHS mental health settings. The service is recovery oriented, person centred, strengths based, collaborative and empowering; and operates on the premise that consumers can and do recover from mental illness.

  • Deliver high quality, evidence based clinical services and leadership as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers with complex eating disorders, their carer’s and relevant stakeholders with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a recovery and rehabilitation framework.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $146 900 p.a., comprising salary rates: $60.34 – $64.93 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (temporary part time position available for 12 months, 53.2 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
