About the Team:

As psychologists at Pace Ahead Psychology, we enjoy and experience passion in working with children, adolescents, families and adults (especially those adults within the perinatal stages). We also have allied health assistants on board who assist with the day-to-day function of a child and adolescent clinic.

 

The Role:

We have a position for a psychologist to join us! Working as part of our team will involve:

  • Providing intervention to a range of clients but also having the opportunity to develop your own ‘niche’ area if desired. Being in a regional town with a widely known and positive reputation, our referrals to vary greatly however we have focused on identifying our own areas of strengths and interests and generally focus on these areas. In order to do this, we triage and are selective with the types of clients we take on.
  • Conduct psychometric assessments, either diagnostic or educational. Adequate training in provided on the job if required.

Your Skills:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • High standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • Reliable and committed to providing a high quality of service to clients.
  • Ability to positively engage with children, adolescents and families.
  • Eligibility for registration as a Medicare provider.
  • Ideal but not necessary: Board-Approved Supervisor (to support whilst usual supervisor is on leave, can be more permanent if you desire).
