Job description:

The purpose of the role is to support the design, development, and execution of the Psychological Health and Safety Strategy and initiatives, that successfully manage psychosocial risk, and foster and maintain psychologically healthy working environments. This position is also responsible for driving and implementing the wellbeing strategy across IAG.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and execution of an integrated and prioritised wellbeing, psychological health and safety program of work.

  • Support People Leaders to manage mental health related employee concerns – this includes, but is not limited to: change management, fatigue, poor performance, general mental health, family and domestic violence, bullying, harassment and suicidality.

  • Identify psychosocial risks, partnering with business and Centre of Excellence (COE) teams, to determine priorities to implement psychological health and safety related programs of work to address these risks and drive to completion.

  • Lead and project manage small and large-scale health and wellbeing projects and initiatives derived from the program of work.

  • Research and conduct external benchmarking to provide contemporary and relevant data and insights, essential for the design of robust health and wellbeing strategies and initiatives.

  • Analyse, meaningfully interpret, and monitor wellbeing, health and safety data to identify psychosocial risk across the business.

  • Develop and maintain productive and effective relationships with People Business Partners and Consultants across the Market Unit and acquired businesses, to provide consultation and delivery of health and wellbeing needs.

  • Enhance psychological health and safety through structured learning and development activities.

  • Raise awareness and communicate data as knowledge in a relevant, effective, and actionable way, to drive engagement with our people.

  • Enable managers and employees to access wellbeing, health and safety resources and support.

  • Work collaboratively with the Safety & Wellbeing teams to assist with meeting broader IAG Safety & Wellbeing goals.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology (minimum four years)

  • Minimum of five years working in workplace mental health and wellbeing role/setting

  • Additional relevant professional development and/or accreditation
