    Job Description

    A diverse role, with flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. Collaborate with a team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals to provide holistic occupational rehabilitation support. Based on your clients individual outcome goals, provide psychological treatment to clients with a range of conditions

    • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) 
    • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
    • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
    • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
    • Providing evidence-based psychological interventions
    • Applying solutions based, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
    • Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical skills. Including but not limited to Initial assessments to form a diagnosis, treatment plans, psychosocial barriers to employment and Vocational Assessments for injured workers.

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling (Affiliate, Associate and full ASORC considered)
    • Full or provisional Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist
    • Clinical knowledge of pathologies
    • Strong communication skills to build and develop relationships
    • Excellent time management skills – be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
    • A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative, use their initiative and achieve results
    • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits 
    • Energy and drive to grow our services
    • A current driver licence and access to their own vehicle
