About us

Tara Anglican School for Girls is a Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school situated in North Parramatta. Established in 1897, Tara has a tradition of excellent pastoral care and high academic standards. Tara is an International Baccalaureate World School offering the Primary Years Programme (ELC–Year 6) and the Middle Years Programme (Years 7–10) as well as the Higher School Certificate in Years 11–12.

Tasks & responsibilities

As our Psychologist/School Counsellor, you will bring your psychological and educational expertise to the forefront, driving beneficial outcomes for our students. Collaborating closely with key figures in pastoral care and academic monitoring, including the Director of Student Wellbeing, Head of Counselling, Year Coordinators, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students.

Must be an experienced Registered or Clinical Psychologist with a minimum of five years of experience post registration.

  • Permanent Part Time Position – three or four days a week
  • Starting date Term 4 2023 or Term 1 2024 (negotiable)
