We are seeking Psychologists (General or Clinical), Mental Health Social Workers and Occupational Therapists with mental health endorsement to work as contractors in our headspace teams (roles based at Gosford, Lake Haven and Wyong).

Who We Are
headspace Lake Haven, headspace Gosford and our Wyong Satellite provide a range of evidence based, early intervention services to young people aged 12-25 years, including primary health, mental health, substance use counselling, & social recovery programs.

The Role
headspace are seeking motivated and experienced general and clinical psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers and Occupational Therapists with mental health endorsement to work as contractors to join our multidisciplinary teams based on the Central Coast of NSW. You must be a registered Medicare provider to apply.

What You Offer 
We are looking for psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who meet the following selection requirements:

  • Available to work flexible days and hours (Days/ Evenings available)
  • Full registration with AHPRA or eligibility for AASW, or an OT with mental health endorsement and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • Registration as a Medicare provider and registration as a business/company/sole trader
  • Working with Children’s Check and Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Demonstrated skills to build rapport and engage young people
  • Experience working with young people (aged 12-25) with a range of presenting issues
  • Ability to use practice management software (training provided)
  • Evidence of an immunisation assessment and COVID-19 Vaccination prior to commencement.
