Are you looking for flexible and highly rewarding clinical work delivered in a variety of workplaces? Due to an increase in demand, we have exciting new opportunities for Psychologists to join our team. We are recruiting for:

  1. Registered Psychologists for clinical work supporting our clients with a broad range of clinical presentations 
  2. Registered Psychologists (Crisis Response) with interest in responding to the clinical needs of EAP customers and their employees at times of need in response to onsite workplace events
  3. Workplace Trainers who are confident presenters with experience in delivering and facilitating training to adults in the workplace.

ABOUT THE ROLES 

All roles are flexible hours up to full-time.

Registered Psychologist: supporting our clients by providing exceptional clinical services in-person from our Newcastle CBD rooms or via telehealth.  

Registered Psychologists (Crisis Response): supporting our EAP customers and their employees by providing exceptional onsite clinical services at times of need in response to serious workplace events.  These services are delivered mostly in the Hunter Valley, as well as across NSW, QLD and WA.  

Workplace Trainer & Facilitator: A dynamic and engaging presenter with a strong track record in facilitating training sessions, you will facilitate sessions that are centred around mental health, workplace health and wellbeing to our broad range of EAP customers. Your expertise will empower individuals and organisations to foster a culture of positive wellbeing and a healthy work environment. The research and design of the training will be developed for you by a clinical expert, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and impactful sessions to the participants. 

ABOUT YOU
Registered Psychologists:

  • Utilise your broad-based clinical experience to address a range of clinical presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly and empathetically
  • Dedicated to delivering the highest quality evidence-based counselling
  • Committed to clinical supervision and professional development.

Registered Psychologists (Crisis Response): 

  • Utilise your broad-based clinical experience to address a range of clinical presentations, including but not limited to grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, and depression
  • An open and flexible mindset that embraces the ever-changing nature of mental health support in various settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly and empathetically
  • Willing to respond and travel to the impacted workplace at short notice (we do understand you won’t be available every time we ask)
  • Provide onsite supportive clinical care and critical incident response to our diverse client base
  • Support individuals and leaders
  • Work autonomously to provide effective and timely interventions.

There is also another opportunity to provide after-hours, on-call phone support taking urgent calls from EAP clients from home (provisionally registered psychologists considered).  If interested, please note “On call” in your application.  

Workplace Trainer & Facilitator: 

  • Ideally, registration as a Psychologist or tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or other relevant mental health qualifications 
  • Alternatively, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification will be considered
  • Experience in delivering workplace training with a particular emphasis on workplace health and wellbeing
  • Dynamic and engaging presentation skills to captivate and inspire audiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with learners
  • Comfortable to manage sensitivities around health and wellbeing in all training sessions.
