JOB DESCRIPTION

Couples Therapy Melbourne is looking for psychologists, accredited mental health social workers and couples therapists to join our team, working at our St Kilda Rd and/or CBD consulting suites on contracted basis.

Who we work with:

Our clientele is diverse, with ages ranging from adolescents and up with an array of presenting issues. Our solid client base & excellent referral network has kept our practice established for over 20 years.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Providing psychological treatment to individuals and couples.
  • Assessment and counselling for adults with a range of issues (depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues).
  • Entering client data and maintaining clinical records to AHPRA required standards.
  • Liaising with referral agents and other professionals.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and supervision.
  • Some after-hours appointments may be required.

About you:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in counselling, psychology, or couples work.
  • Qualifications in psychology, social work or equivalent.
  • AHPRA registration & PI insurance.
  • Your own ABN.
  • Capacity to work independently and reflectively.
  • Familiarity & adherence to professional standards and ethics for psychologists.
  • Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
