What You Will Be Doing

The Psychology Clinical Educator will work with the Psychology Education Team, in collaboration with the Learning Hub, to develop, facilitate and evaluate education and training activities for the psychology workforce at Peninsula Health. This includes supporting supervision of Psychology Registrars and other Psychologists, coordinating psychology student placements and contributing to other educational activities across the organisation. The Psychology Clinical Educator will ensure learning programs contribute to the growth and development of all psychologists and neuropsychologists to ensure excellent patient care.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Registration as Psychologist with an endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Forensic Psychology
• Be a board-approved and Registrar program principal supervisor
• Experience in supervising staff and students, and delivering education initiatives
• Experience in leadership, as well as implementation and evaluation of initiatives
• Experience working in public health and/or public mental health

• Regular clinical supervision from a suitably qualified Senior Clinical Psychologist
• Psychologists are entitled to 5 days a year (pro rata) paid Professional Development Leave and an additional 2 days a year of Registration leave!

• Annual retention payment of $2,000 (pro rata)
