With a team of over 230, we provide the most comprehensive allied health services in our sector with innovative rehabilitation centres across Melbourne, Geelong, Hobart and Albury and extensive home visits and community-based services.
Psychology Clinical Manager position
The Psychology Clinical Manager plays a key leadership role in managing the psychology department at NeuroRehab Allied Health Network. The psychology team consists of Clinical Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Provisional Psychologists, and some links to OT team members who provide positive behaviour support services. You will be responsible for ensuring the team provides effective, safe, and innovative delivery of clinical services. Supervising and mentoring senior team members and promoting learning, growth, and development across the team are core elements of the role. You will also lead the team to accomplish department goals and develop policies and procedures related to psychology services.
Our clinical managers also hold a clinical caseload delivering psychological therapies, practical intervention, and positive behaviour support services to adult clients with a range of acquired, progressive or developmental neurological conditions. The split between management and clinical work is around 50:50.
The pay rate and conditions will follow the Level 4 Health Professionals and Support Services 2020 award with an above-award salary. We are looking for applications with full-time availability but are also open to part-time applications of 4 days or applicants looking for school-friendly hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the professional, safe, innovative, and profitable delivery of psychology clinical services
- Participating in organisational strategic planning days – held quarterly
- Develop and implement department goals and manage change effectively
- Recruitment for the psychology team.
- Supervision of Psychology team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychologist
- Board-approved supervisor status and experience supervising others
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Expertise in working with clients with neurological conditions
- The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening check
Desirable
- Proficient level registration as an NDIS positive behaviour support practitioner
