YOUR NEW ROLE:

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a compassionate intake worker to join our Psychology Services Team at Soldier On. The position will be based at our Psychology Hub in Melbourne and will provide intake, triage and coordination to veterans and their families referred to Soldier On Psychology Services. 

The successful clinician will be an integral member of our multi-disciplinary team and will be expected to work closely with the Psychology Practice Manager to ensure an efficient, trauma-informed intake experience for Soldier On clients and their families. 

Dependant on experience, the Psychology Intake Coordinator will also provide counselling support to veterans and their families on the SO Psychology waitlist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Waitlist management intervention
  • Risk assessments
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • Maintain highest levels of confidentiality in all matters

ABOUT YOU:

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working or volunteering within the mental health or community support services field, with a keen interest in the veteran community. You will have experience working in an intake role within any of the above settings.

This is an exciting career opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and authentic individual who is looking to gain unique experience in this field. 

This position is open to individuals with the relevant tertiary qualifications including, psychology, social work, counselling, or nursing. Final year students may also be considered.
