About the service

Barwon MHDAS provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and drug & alcohol issues, and their families.

Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive. We are fortunate to enjoy terrific internal relationships and have developed excellent partnerships with the local community that provide for seamless integrated care for our clients.

About the roles

We are seeking applications from Psychologists who are graduating/recent graduates of a Masters of Clinical /Forensic Psychology to work in both Clinician and Discipline Specific roles across our acute and community mental health services as well as in our specialist programs.

You will receive support by Senior Psychologists within the service to provide assessment, treatment and recovery based interventions to a wide range of cosnumers.

We currently have full/ or part time clinician opportunities at the following sites: 

  • New Locals Adult Mental Health Service
  • Child & Adolescent Mental Service
  • Eating Disorder Service
  • Therapies Team
  • Aged Psychiatry Team
