About the Opportunity  
 
Therapy Pro has a rare opportunity for a Generally Registered Psychologist ready to take the next step in their career & come on-board as our next Psychology Team Lead.  
 
Reporting to the National Head of Psychology, the Psychology Team Lead will be responsible for leading a small team of around 10 Psychologists to deliver high levels of quality therapeutic service. This includes direct role management and clinical support. This support will include performance support, clinical case reviews and quality support, therapy planning guidance, Psychology specific supervision, reporting and documentation reviews.  
 
The Team Lead will foster a nurturing professional environment where therapists are motivated to excel clinically, support others, collaborate generously across same discipline, multi-disciplinary teams, and maintain excellent standards of productivity and ethics. 
 
The Team Lead will lead teams alongside maintaining a reduced client caseload of 35% (2 hours 40 minutes per full working day), providing a range of therapeutic supports to children and adults with a variety of needs. 
 
About You  

  • A qualification in Psychology from a recognised tertiary institution (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)  
  • Holds a minimum general registration as a psychologist  
  • Holds a current registration with AHPRA  
  • Board Accredited Supervisor Accreditation highly desirable (STAP)  
  • Leadership experience within an allied health or community services organisation is desirable but not mandatory  
  • Deep understanding of the disability sector and issues impacting people with disabilities and their families and carers  
  • The ability to work autonomously, based from home, and manage one’s time in a complex environment often characterised by competing priorities and the need for quality work  
  • Comfortable using varied technology and online platforms  
  • A current open driver’s licence and access to a registered, roadworthy motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance cover.
