About the role

As a casual support worker, you will provide assistance to your clients in order for them to meaningfully participate in various community and societal activities. We ensure you get work within 30 minutes of where you live, or less. Rate of pay $32 – $39 Weekdays, $44 – $57 Weekends (incl. super).

Typically the role includes

  • Offering companionship and social support.
  • Assisting clients with community access and engagement.
  • Transporting and accompanying clients to and from appointments.
  • Working individually with clients to assist and achieve therapeutic goals.

To be successful in this role you may have:

  • Degree / Diploma in Psychology, Counselling, or other mental health disability and care related qualifications.

AND/OR

  • Previous experience working with people that have mental health conditions.

Essential requirements:

  • Patience and a compassionate nature to help others
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate
  • First Aid Certificate   
  • National Police Check
  • Working With Children Check (if applicable)
  • A current Australian Driver’s License and access to a reliable car
