We offer psychological services for people suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, obsessional related issues, eating disorders, burnout, personality issues and many other challenges.

Headway offers other complementary services including dietetic and physical activity/movement interventions to provide a more holistic approach to mental health and well-being. 

We have a small but tight knit team with extensive experience who are passionate about providing the best quality psychology and well-being services possible. 

The Role:

We’re seeking a full-time registered psychologist or clinical psychologist (or registrar) who is passionate about psychology and well-being, who likes to work in a team, and wants to be part of an innovative and high performing organisation.

Part-time applicants are welcome to apply, though we need a minimum commitment of three (3) days per week. 

Skills & Experience

You will need psychology skills that include motivational interviewing, rapport building and the ability to develop strong case formulations. You will also be required to develop psychological treatment plans for specific presenting problems such as depression, anxiety, anger, post-traumatic stress and personality pathology.

You will have experience working with adults aged 18-65. You will have demonstrated an ability to work within a private practice setting and be able to work successfully with team members with allied health backgrounds.

Candidates must be eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, and be eligible for Medicare rebates.
