Registered Psychologist

About the Opportunity  

The Banyans has an opportunity for a registered psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Brisbane. Providing psychological therapy to patients with a wide range of needs.

The role is starting 3-5 half days a week, with the high likelihood to grow quickly into 5 full days per week as patient base grows. 

The position is for a late October 2022 start. 

Exceptional earning potential with fee split offer or hourly rate. 

About You:

Must hold full registration: Psychologist / Clinical psychologist with relevant qualifications (Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)).

Registration with Medicare: Registration with, or eligible to be registered with Medicare to provide services under the Medicare Scheme.

Insurance: Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.

Have outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 

Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in clinical settings.

Willingness to support the build of your own patient base.

You would be working in a beautifully designed, new facility, with high level of autonomy but as part of a highly experienced, inclusive and dynamic group of clinicians. 

The Banyans Medical Centre & Specialist Clinics is based on a culture of collaboration, peer support, and a commitment to ongoing medical education to ensure the best outcomes for our patients, staff, and clinicians. 

Our philosophy is to help people to live life well. This extends to our staff and practitioners. We offer onsite parking, external IT access, and chef-prepared nutritious meals for a small fee.

With the ongoing growth of our new centre, we are eagerly looking for a psychologist or clinical psychologist who is seeking a highly integrated, multi-disciplinary practice and is keen to take part in our growth.
