Job Description
About the role
As a Rehabilitation Consultant – Counsellor, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health. As part of the team you’ll support people to get well and working.
As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking assessments and provide recommendations to support recovery and Return to Work (RTW). This includes Initial Assessments, Vocational Assessments, Labour Market Analysis to name a few.
- Undertake Vocational Counselling and Rehabilitation Counselling
- Undertake rehabilitation and return to work activities with clients in their recovery to return to health and work.
- Identifying barriers and implementing recovery & rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborating with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties.
- Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the life, community and the workforce.

Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the role
- Qualifications and registration in Rehabilitation Counselling
- Eligibility to gain, or have current membership with RCAA or ASORC
- Current Drivers Licence and Vehicle as travel is required within the role
- Passion for helping people to regain their health and to return to work
