As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will call on your clinical reasoning skills to support people who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury at work. Applying your clinical skills in a different way, you will take a holistic care approach for your client and manage their journey from rehab to healing. You will support your clients to return to the same job or to find a new opportunity by working with them to develop, implement and monitor their rehabilitation plans.

A unique opportunity to SUPPORT workers with injuries across a broad range of schemes. This can include clients under Work Cover, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other Comcare portfolios with exposure to industries like transport, agriculture, government, construction, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and professional services. As such, no two days will be the same with such a diverse range of industries and client groups to work across.
Joining a high-quality service provider, you will be SUPPORTED and MENTORED through direct interaction and an extensive onboarding process (incl. ongoing shadowing) to build your technical knowledge and expertise and enable your success. Part-time options available.
What will make you successful:
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing or Osteopathy
- Strong clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
