For Provisional Psychologists support and professional supervision is offered to complete the necessary requirements to gain full registration and/or build experience. We can consider full time or part time and are happy to explore other flexible work arrangements.

About us

We are a high performing purpose-driven organisation that remains strongly independent in an increasingly corporatised market. Our values and behaviours form the core of our organisational culture, putting people at the centre, wellbeing a priority and fun a must! We provide the support, the knowledge and the nurturing required, to allow everyone in our organisation to perform optimally, to be at their best for their clients, themselves, and each other.

If you don’t want to be treated like a number, want to make people’s lives better and make your own life better, come and join our team.

  • An attractive package that includes a company laptop & phone for private use
  • Access to the organisation’s bonus scheme
  • A strong focus on ongoing training, mentoring and membership to our internal communities of practice groups
  • Opportunity for fully supported internal supervision for prospective rehabilitation counsellors or provisional psychologists to gain general registration

  • Relocation assistance for the right candidate
  • A fully service company car including reasonable personal use

Skills & Experience

  • AHPRA Registration as a registered or provisional psychologist or the appropriate membership as a mental health clinician
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Sound clinical reasoning skills
  • Working with Children and Police Check
  • Full vaccination status to work in health

The Role

We have a position available with our established Newcastle team as a rehabilitation consultant where you will improve the lives of people where compromised mental and/or physical health has impeded their ability to work and function in the community. If you have qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology you will use these skills to change the lives of people who have experienced changes that have impacted on their personal and professional capacity within the community. The role will engage your skills as a mental health clinician and will be rewarding as you impact the lives of your clients.

We can consider full time or part time and also have the flexibility to provide a mix of pure counselling in a clinical setting coupled with the rehabilitation counsellor role.

The Provisional Psychologist will be provided with fully funded clinical supervision to support the achievement of full registration.  This is available for both 4 + 2 and 5 +1 registration pathways.

Locations

We have positions available in the following locations: Albury; Canberra; Griffith; Coffs Harbour; Griffith; Lismore; Newcastle; Nowra; Sydney; Tamworth; Wagga Wagga; Wollongong and Wyong.
