Rehabilitation Consultant – Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social Worker/Psychologist Generation Health Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supporting our ADF return to wellness you will identify mental health issues and work through psychosocial barriers. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will drawing upon your clinical skills and support people throughout their rehab journey. You will be rewarded with real tangible outcomes. A vital link helping our ADF achieve specific health goals to be able to return to service.

  • Perform worksite assessments;
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals;
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to facilitate a return to wellness plan;
  • Case management – Implementing and monitoring rehabilitation plans.

A unique opportunity, Acumen is the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel. When supporting ADF clients on-base, you can enjoy early starts and early finishes: 7:30am – 3:30pm. Be part of the team that gets them fully fit and military ready to defend and protect Australia.

What will make you successful:

  • Full membership with AASW, ASORC/RCAA, AHPRA(or eligibility for)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology (Graduates welcome to apply)
  • Strong clinical reasoning
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate

(Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, or Nurses with appropriate professional registration are also encouraged to apply)
