Ongoing contracting work (NSW workers compensation) $120.00 per hour. You will be completing services remotely which offers the flexibility of being located anywhere in Australia.

This successful rehabilitation provider is seeking a contract Rehabilitation Counsellor (you can be located anywhere in Australia) to take on a varied caseload of workplace rehabilitation cases (NSW Workers Compensation only). The main focus with this work is working towards return to health and work outcomes in a safe and timely manner. This includes conducting assessments remotely to injured parties. You will have support from an experienced and supportive manager and the flexibility and autonomy to manage your workload and time. 

This role is open to experienced RCs with a strong desire to help clients return to health and work. You will be confident in providing assessments in a remote setting, with the ability to build strong rapport with this structure. 

You will be responsible for the following:

• Completing remote assessments- Vocational Assessments predominantly
• Liaison with key stakeholders.
• Working closely with a strong employment services division. 
• Completion of high-level written reporting.

Requirements: 

• Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling (with relevant registration & membership ASORC etc).
• Previous occupational rehabilitation experience 
• Recent experience with NSW Workers Compensation cases
• The ability to work effectively on an independent basis
• Positive and client-centred professional with great communication skills in a remote setting
• ABN & Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to gain).
